About the role
To offer the most exciting, top-quality, and fresh food experiences, we are recruiting an experienced restaurant industry expert to lead the building, management, and development of Huuva’s kitchen operations in Germany, starting from Berlin.
As an Executive Chef / Kitchen Operations Lead, you are responsible for
Hiring, training and leading a team of kitchen managers and supporting them to lead their kitchens independently without you micro-managing every detail.
Building, developing and managing robust and scalable kitchen operations based on data, customer feedback and own observations to meet quality and profitability targets.
Operational management of kitchen operations projects, including but not limited to new kitchen openings, new restaurant brand implementations, procurement, and process development.
Building a motivating and safe workplaces for talented kitchen managers and kitchen crew.
Communicating Huuva OS feature requests and feedback from the kitchens to the product team and vice versa.
What we expect
You’re an all-rounder restaurant industry veteran with a humble, forward-looking mindset and a never-ending hunger to learn
You enjoy leading and coaching your team of kitchen managers and kitchen crew and have the ability to hire and retain top talent in your team. You are not afraid of leading by example and getting your hands dirty, even in kitchen work.
You know the ins and outs of setting up and managing professional, high-volume kitchens.
You get things done and continuously prioritise your work at the office and kitchen.
You have an excellent eye for detail in satisfying and surpassing customer expectations day after day.
You have excellent communication skills in English and German.
You follow up-and-coming culinary and restaurant trends and have excellent gastro industry connections in Berlin / Germany.
